Current issues in strategic Human Resources Planning

The purpose of the assignment is to familiarize yourself with current issues in strategic Human Resources Planning and to develop your research and analytical skills, specifically related to an organization and industry of your choice in Canada. This organization will be the SAME organization you selected for Assignment 1.

Assignment Questions and Analysis
1. In your established groups, continue with the Canadian industry and organization that you selected for your Assignment 1. For example, the bell for the airline industry or Royal Bank in the financial sector. The organization must be based in Canada. Your report must include a brief overview of the organization (1 page), including their mission, vision, and value statements.
2. Provide an executive summary for your paper (note this is different than an introduction).
3. Brief description of key industry trends that impact your organization
4. Conduct a SWOT analysis for your organization. Document your findings in a 1-page quadrant. (No more than 1 page) . Bullet form is acceptable.
5. Identify and explain 3 reasons why HR planning is necessary for organization effectiveness. Identify how your organization should plan to prepare for success.
6. How has Covid-19 redefined work, the workforce and the workplace. What does this mean for your organization?
