The hotel industry also faces some unique challenges in improving the health and safety of its employees. According to OSHA the most common safety violations within the hospitality industry are violations for inadequate record-keeping and failing to provide proper personal protective equipment for the staff. However work-related stress is an important health issue in the hospitality industry, especially because employees are expected to be “on stage” at all times.
