    What is the most common cumulative trauma disorder?
    Cumulative Trauma Disorders can be categorized into tendon disorders and nerve disorders. Tendons are bundles of fibrous tissue that connect the muscles to the bones. Disorders of the tendons and of their protective coverings, called synovial sheaths, are among the most common types of CTDs.

This should be between 2-3 pages in length. The following headings should be used in the paper:

  • Introduction – Describe what will be discussed
  • Physiological Elements – Describe how either sleep or internal regulation (choose one of these) works physically and psychologically
  • Making the Connection – Describe how the disorder(s) you are connecting to physiology relate(s) or does not relate to sleep or internal regulation (why is/isn’t there a connection between physiology and sleep or internal regulation?)
  • Conclusion – Discuss your findings

    This is known as a trauma disorder, and there are 7 different types:
    • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
    • Acute Stress Disorder (ASD)
    • Secondhand Trauma.
    • Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD)
    • Disinhibited Social Engagement Disorder (DSED)
    • Adjustment Disorders.
    • Other and Unspecified Trauma- and Stressor-Related Disorders.
