Universal basic minimum incom

Some of Canada’s Social Safety Nets area universal basic minimum incom.  The pandemic brought out the long “known” but not discussed fact that the minimum wage in Ontario and the rest of Canada is far from sufficient to maintain a minimum standard of living.  Do you think that  should become   Why or why not
