The fact that there are not many women in decision-making positions is actually women’s fault

“The fact that there are not many women in decision-making positions is actually women’s fault. Women are not interested, they opt out and are generally more concerned with family and children.” This is – in simple words – what we call a ‘supply-side’ explanation for the under-representation of women in positions of power. Demand-side explanations find explanations about women’s subordination in organisational policies and practices, as well as in institutional characteristics (laws, childcare infrastructure, culture, etc.). Similar explanations are developing for minority groups (black,LGBTQ community, religious practitioners whose faith is not widely practised where they live, and people with disabilities) as well. So, whose fault is it? Discuss about all the minority groups and give explenations and solutions for each one. Based in the relevant bibliography
