  • Also include a brief description of the situation (what is happening? What are the facts?), and provide context for the reader. Think of this as issue that the reader has to solve, a fact pattern that a manager or HR personnel has to address.
  • The remainder of the case should provide the reader with sufficient information to but not reveal what actually happened in the real case do. (Do not give away the outcome!)

Ethical way to determine how much people are compensated for their work

In recent years there has been a great deal of criticism of the compensation that many business leaders, especially those in finance, receive. You may recall, for example, all the rhetoric about the “1%” in recent political campaigns. On the other side of the scale, there are several movements nationwide aimed at increasing the minimum wage. Do you think that CEOs are, on balance, overpaid? Are minimum wage workers, on balance, underpaid? What is the ethical way to determine how much people are compensated for their work?

Explain the working concept of hydraulic accumulators

Please explain the working concept of hydraulic accumulators, which differ from air compressors in that they are modeled after wave machines.

With a rise in pressure within the hydraulic system, the hydraulic accumulator collects the pressure fluid.

The result: The gas is compressed. If the pressure falls, the compressed gas expands again and forces the stored fluid into the hydraulic circuit.
