Task 4: Since the company is dealing with very large amounts of data continuously, it I important for the IT team to develop a “Big Data” mindset so that they can use their analysis for predictive modeling. Set up a series of digital scenarios that you would have the IT team work through where they have to make predictive models from a large batch of data. You can find and use an existing data set for this project but need to clearly define what the team is analyzing and how they are to go about making their predictive models. Remember, this is a training exercise. Here is a link for a video on predictive modeling for your to see:

72-year-old Tom Nielson has late-stage prostate cancer with secondary tumours in his lungs and brain. He is currently a resident in a retirement village where he lives in a single room.
Tom is a retired airline pilot and prior to developing cancer, was relatively healthy enjoying retirement with his wife Connie on their large lifestyle block out of town. They enjoyed being together out in the garden and spending time with their many friends in the local area. Tom was a smoker (gave up 5 years ago after smoking for 45 years), always enjoyed a few drinks on a Friday in the local pub and had also taken up golf. Connie continues to live in the family home 30 km out of town, and visits her husband as often as possible.
Tom and Connie have two daughters. Sarah aged 45, a land agent who lives 100 km away in a small town and Beatrice, aged 41, a lawyer who lives nearby. Both are very busy with their adolescent children and their careers. Tom and Connie also have a son who they no longer have any contact with, after a big argument 10 years ago. He lives in Australia.
Over the last week or two, Tom has become more confused, often forgetting where he is and who staff and family members are. He has been having episodes of agitation and tearfulness and is often reporting pain despite receiving regular pain medication. And while his appetite has been small, he has been managing a little of the small high protein meals provided by the facility.
After a visit with Tom one day, Connie reports that he is refusing to eat and drink, choosing instead to sleep. She also mentions that his breathing seems shallow and she is concerned that he feels cold to touch. She asks for a warm blanket for her husband as she thinks he may be “coming down with something”

For patients with nutritional deficits and nutritional counseling done by a registered dietician helps the patient understand which foods are safe and nutrient-dense in order to gain the most nutritional values. The overall well-being of the patient depreciates once the loss of bulk begins. Dietary counseling benefits the total well-being of the patient as it is their fuel to enable the other therapies to be successful. Speech therapy can be ordered to work with dietary to provide swallowing tests and instructions as to what alternative nutrition intake methods are available and most suitable for the patient. How have you incorporated other therapies into your educational practices?

The objective of the project is for your group to create a unique presentation that addresses a question related to the field of Psychology. The question should be open-ended meaning there is no simple “yes” or “no” answer to it. For example, your question might be “What are dreams?” or “Who is Carl Jung?” Your group is responsible for putting together a 15 -20 minute presentation and each group member should have a part in the presentation. In addition to a Powerpoint presentation, you are required to incorporate an interactive component that is included in your presentation time. Examples include Tik Tok videos with follow up questions, interactive games, Zoom polls etc. The product will be your group’s original work and should advance our understanding of the question you select for your project.
Methodology
The method you use to answer your question should include the following:
a review of the literature to determine how others have tackled the question; your presentation should reveal that you have thoroughly investigated the topic
use of multiple sources to gather and present your information: the Internet, journal articles, personal reflections, interviews, photographs, case studies, videotapes, etc.
appropriate use of at least 2 different peer reviewed journal articles per group member
collaboration with your group members; it is recommended that you meet with your
group early in the semester to begin formulating possible questions, division of labor,
plan of attack, etc.
the project will include quotes and references used when appropriate to cite your resources.
My topic is imagination. can you complete all of the following needs for the topic imagination? I also need citations

You have been assigned the case of a 98-year old women who was recently admitted with a diagnosis of pneumonia. She has a history of cardiac disease and takes a number of medications. She had been fairly active until the past few days, when her cough worsened and fever developed. You note that her pulse has become weak and threat like and that her resps are increasingly laboured. Patient is now to weak to respond to you. When you mention to the family that you may need to call the physician and even take heroic life- saving measures. The PT’s son and daughter become distraught, saying that they do not want their mother to be kept alive on machines. They report that they have discussed the situation with their mother. You find that her wishes have not been documented in her chart. The family members have not discussed this situation with the pts family physician. What actions would you consider taking at this moment? Take into account the ethical principals of Autonomy and Beneficence and the idea of futile care. What are your personal values about interventions at the end of life?

Recognise and respond appropriately to 3 potential ethical dilemmas and discuss them with a suitable person; eg a manager, supervisor, counsellor or human services worker.
You could discuss:
poor service standards demonstrated by workers
client rights to self-determination and their wish to live independently vs the need for assisted living
a client offers an expensive gift
clients in residential care express a desire for a personal/ romantic relationship with each other
misallocation of resources
clients or workers are overstepping professional boundaries
a client’s wishes are being overridden by family members
workers are not complying with policy and procedural directions
etc
Some issues will relate specifically to the service sector in which you work.
