Ecological voices are newer perspectives and have sometimes found it difficult to integrate their goals into political systems. When each individual’s interests are recognized and form part of the dialogue for decision-making, then the communities’—in this case, the international communities’—interests will be realized. But it is causing a great deal of instability on international oil markets, which causes hardship for almost everyone. We need to keep talking with this group. On the other hand, we also have to be alert to the possibility that it is a terrorist cell masquerading as an ecological group. Every country has to be vigilant in its own defense.
